The Spotlight Initiative focuses on institutionalizing prevention and response policies to end all forms of violence against women and girls (VAWG) including femicide. Civil Society is engaged as a key actor in debates and processes linked to the approval of legal frameworks on VAWG and enforcing women’s rights. It also aims to develop the technical and institutional capacities of service providers.

Acceleration Laboratory for Ecuador to help the country explore innovative solutions to prevent and eradicate violence against women and girls.
Engaging the private sector as part of their commitment to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in preventing VAWG and femicide in business settings.
Training for female attorneys in strategic litigation and capacity-building for women and their organizations on media training, plus self-care, to heighten women’s performance in advocacy.
