Stimulating co-creation in which beneficiaries play an active and ongoing role in the conceptualization, development and implementation of innovative programmes and activities, including through civil society.
Modern IT
Developing the mobile application (co-designed by women and girls) to report on sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) cases and get support; maintaining the phone hotline for SGBV survivors.
Innovative grassroots campaigns and community mobilization
Changing beliefs, behaviour and attitudes at the level closest to people; working with concrete champions of change — e.g. religious leaders, paralegals, police officers; going beyond information campaigns.
Specific focus on most vulnerable, especially disabled women and girls
Specific activities aimed at improving access to services for disabled women and girls.
Joint Operation
RCO-based programme staff coordinate a team of staff members from the UN Agencies; strong contribution of the RCO to coordination (RBM, Communication) and management; integrated planning and implementation.
