ArtRepublic and Spotlight Initiative present ‘The Light Within’ Digital Art Exhibition
Violence against women and girls is one of the most critical human rights challenges of our time. The need for action is urgent.
Harnessing art and culture's unique ability to shift consciousness, ArtRepublic Global, in collaboration with the United Nations Spotlight Initiative and the WithHer Fund, present ‘The Light Within’ – a groundbreaking digital art exhibition that celebrates the divine feminine, challenges stereotypes and supports grassroots organizations combating gender-based violence.
Proceeds from select artworks and donors will support the WithHer Fund, a collaboration between the United Nations Foundation and Spotlight Initiative that provides flexible funding to frontline, grassroots women’s rights organizations tackling violence against women and girls worldwide.
‘The Light Within’ is a first-of-its-kind, large-scale digital art installation by all female artists, featuring internationally renowned artists IX Shells, Sasha Stiles, Delphine Diallo, Yatreda, Linda Dounia, Emily Xie, Entangled Others, Lyn Godley and Melissa Wiederrecht. Their innovative artworks blend technology and storytelling, offering visitors moments of awe, presence and mental well-being.

Art and culture have a unique ability to shift consciousness and inspire change. Incorporating findings from neuroaesthetics, the installation uses cutting-edge techniques in digital imagery and sound to create an immersive environment that reduces stress and promotes relaxation to open the mind to new perspectives. This groundbreaking approach reflects the global need for wellness spaces that enhance well-being in public environments.
'The Light Within' is an example of how digital experiences and the merging of art and technology can shift global perspectives.
Exhibition is located in the New York United Nations Headquarters Visitors' Lobby and will be open to the public from 5 March to 25 March, 2025.
