Women creatives in Papua New Guinea #ChooseToChallenge violence against women and girls

Papua New Guinea has one of the world's highest rates of violence against women and girls, with 64 per cent of women experiencing spousal violence.

This International Women's Day, Spotlight Initiative celebrates four of the country's women creatives who #ChooseToChallenge the social norms and practices that perpetuate violence. These women worked with grassroots, civil society partners of the Spotlight Initiative to develop advocacy materials on ending violence against women and girls.
